The South African Guild of Actors (SAGA) is a powerful, unified voice for actors in the film, television, stage, commercial and corporate sectors in South Africa. The Guild exists to promote professionalism in the performance industry, and to protect and enhance actors' working conditions, compensation and benefits.

Scene Study Workshop with Bonnie Lee Bouman

You have already trained to be a professional actor, now you need to enhance and harness those skills needed to book the job.

SAGA presents Bonnie Lee Bouman’s practical scene study workshop.

SAGA members will get the opportunity to have an interactive class with one of our leading casting directors in the country.  Non SAGA members and AFDA performing arts students will have the opportunity to observe and learn from the participants and Bonnie’s direction and feedback.

  1. Prepare a monologue and 1 scene of your choice (no longer than 4 minutes) 
  2. email your monologue and scene to Bonnie at theboss@blbc.co.za
  3. Bring two copies of each to the workshop.
  4. Bring water, lunch, pen, paper and wear comfortable clothing.
